Awareness of devastating effects of smoking is rising thus there is a decline in smoking rate through out the world. But this decline is very slow when it comes to smoking by pregnant women. Smoking is very dangerous for babies and pregnant mother should quit smoking for their welfare and for healthy babies.

According to a research those women who smoke regularly will have hyperactive kids and may even have AHAD. Studies have shown that cigarette smoke has some extremely poisonous substances like nicotine and tobacco. This can lead to hyperactive kids as smoking creates higher amount of carbon monoxide in blood streams. Also overall growth of a child can be hampered due to improper oxygen supply, which is very dangerous for your child.

Our expert team reveals that those mothers who were under influence of smoke regularly during pregnancy gave birth to child who had low language and speech abilities. Also ability of child to read and learn is very low as compared to other children. A child who was under influence of smoke had lower intelligence levels and was not physically well developed as compared to other kids.

Another risk of smoking during pregnancy is that child’s senses are not developed completely. He/she may find it complicated to follow directions or think upon something. The brain sizes of those children whose mother smoked were less as compared to children of non-smokers. Child can develop mental and emotional disorders as he/she advances in life all this is due to poisonous substances of cigarette smoke.
